No, VMS Inc. primarily focuses on light hand assembly using tools such as screwdrivers, drills and various other hand tools.
Yes! We have invested in our own real time web-based inventory system that allows each of our customers to log onto their own website and see inventory real time. You can also place orders, track shipped orders, see shipping costs, enter materials shipping to our facility, get notified via email alerts when your inventory hits a predetermined refill point and much more! Our software gives you everything you need to know about your inventory and orders from anywhere at anytime, eliminating the need to reach out to the facility, waiting for replies, and helping you keep products stocked to avoid backorders.
We do not do welding, handle dangerous chemicals, machining, metal fabrication, or plastic moldings. We do not “manufacture parts” here, we assemble already manufactured parts into finished products, pick and pack, ecommerce fulfillment, quality control and many customized jobs to meet your needs.
Yes! While we may not have all the answers you are looking for, we all must start somewhere, and we have been there many times ourselves! VMS also owns a commercial bike rack company and has owned and built up a gift item company. We have a few connections and love to help start-ups on their journey.
There is such a broad range of work we can do that it’s nearly impossible to list everything. If you have something you would love to hand off to another party to do or handle, just reach out and ask! It’s likely we would be thrilled to help, and if for any reason we can’t, we might have someone we can refer you to.
We typically have a set price for many of our services, which we will gladly share with you upon learning your needs. As for assembly services, we typically charge a per piece rate. We can also give a job price as well. It all depends on your individual needs.
